I attended the event for April 1st, 2008, at the NOKIA Theatre! It was a lot of fun and also amazingly unbelievable! I attended the show with two of my friends, but sadly only got to hang out mostly with one of them, since we had the same type of ticket. I was lucky to be somewhere near the front while the bands played. I was extremely close to the second stage when The Underneath played though, like a person away from the rail! I'm not going to write a review, but below I provided an entry from one of my blogs on the event!
Here are some pictures of the concert. Sorry for the extremely bad quality, they were taken with my old phone! The first was an attempt to take a picture of D'espairsRay's performance, and the next three were attempts of the Underneath!

Here are some pictures of the signing session from DiNGSOMETHiNG.com! Nice quality, which is why I wanted to include them. You can actually see their faces here!
And here are images of my signed or unsigned posters, D'espairsRay hoodie, and the Underneath shirt. Again, these are pretty bad in quality since they were taken with a camera phone. I'm in desperate need of a digital camera!

Rockstar Taste of Chaos 4/1/08
"OOOH, man. Tuesday made my life!
Can I describe how incredible this concert was?!?! I think what made the experience much richer was the fact that this I will always remember, being it was the very first concert I've ever gone to, AND, these are bands that don't tour the U.S. often, or this was their first time. So, it was a privilege watching them that night. It was an honor shaking each and one of those bands member's hands! Too bad I was like...completely off into cloud9, I can't recall much right now. It's too hazy, all because I couldn't focus much since I was just...way too nervous and excited. I mean, these were bands who I really admire, I think anyone would feel the same. Though, maybe I went a bit too overboard? Haha, well, I'm just a very shy and reserved person, so I tend to embarrass easily and get too nervous about things most people would jump to get at!
There are a few things I wish I would have done differently...like...getting a smaller sized hoodie. The one I purchased fits me all too big! And, wish I would have counted my change for the things I purchased. I got ripped off BIG TIME, not even kidding...My own fault for being careless and dumb with my money. Also, I wish I would have swallowed up my timidness, but, I think this prepared me for the future. 'Cause, I will see these bands again someday, I sure hope so, each single one of the three bands! I really hope I get to meet them many more times and watch them play at shows as amazingly as they do. They did GREAT.
I got to speak with one of the member's from The Underneath, Ryo, for a very brief amount of time, but it was great! He was sooo cool, and he is now my favorite member from that band. He was by far the friendliest from my experience! Don't get me wrong, they all were nice, but he was smiling more and wasn't afraid to laugh and, yeah, I liked that a lot! Especially because I can't imagine how tired they were, so I can understand why they weren't being very lively [all three bands in general], but Ryo was, and I admired that about him!
I bought a few things. A hoodie, which technically doesn't even fit me. It's like a trash bag on me. A shirt from The Underneath. They really won me over with their performance, they did an amazing job!! Probably the best ones there, performance wise, [even though I love D'espairsRay to death, I am willing to admit that]. I bought 2 magazines, which I...kind of sort of regret. I only wanted one, but the deal was 2 for 15 :(. So, I really wanted one of them, and was forced to get another one. What else...a giant D'espairsRay poster!!! Which, I did get them to sign! It was great!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any pictures, but one of my friends took a few! Maybe, if she allows me to, she can probably send me some and I will put them up.
Overall, great experience! I loved it, and I was very inspired by a lot! I feel better prepared for future shows that I will most definitely attend. I really hope all three bands come back to the U.S. soon and I hope to meet them all once again...this time...more aware and less timid than before!"
